- October 6th - New Planet Released
After a long wait, the new Zone map is complete!
Bunker is an exciting new map filled to the brim with action! Rather than having set classes, everyone starts off with a combat knife. You must gather item boxes that can be found in tents and bunkers, or kill players to make them drop their weapons.
The goal of bunker is to lower the opposing teams energy stations hp to zero. Capturing the bases spread out on the map will do this. Also, if your team has more bases than your opponent, your energy station will recover its hp while your opponents loses hp.
The more the merrier, everyone is welcome to come and try out this new addition to Zone! Please feel free to contact any staff member with your feedback about the new map. Remember, your opinions will help us further improve future updates!

- September 14th - And the winner is...
... devilsknite1 ! Sunday evening the tombola (raffle event) for the Wii game console was hold on Kingdoms. Everyone who bought tombola cards was automatically taking part, no matter if being online or not. Everyone got a 3 letter number and the number of the winner was revealed by three rolling balls with numbers on them. Sorry for everyone who didn't win, but may be there will be another event like this in the future since it was quite successful.
- September 13th - Mythic Legends - House Building Frenzy!
Greetings Graalians! We've reached a tiring task on Mythic, one that includes filling roughly 50 levels with houses and misc. buildings of all kinds, and we could use some help.
You don't have to be a skilled LAT for it, as long as you know how to design somewhat realistic houses. Heck, you don't even have to learn to navigate the tileset, since we can provide levels with already existing houses that you can copy/paste the tiles you need from.

- September 9th - Card Tombola this weekend
This is the last week where you can get a tombola card and win a Wii! In the last two months when purchasing trading cards you were also receiving tombola cards. This weekend we will do the "tombola" (raffle) and choose one of the players to get a Wii game console, sponsored by the payment provider Ticket-Surf.

- August 30th - Zone - Day of Events August 30th!
Saturday August 30th, there will be a Day of Events on Zone. The events will start at 15:00 Servertime (9:00 AM EST) and run to 02:00 Servertime (8:00 PM EST).
There will be several prizes handed out this day and inbetween those prized events there will be team-battle events.
Some Prizes include: Twinblade, Red/Blue Pistoles, Reapers, Scifi Pistols, Magnums, Doubleshot, A Holiday Weapon, jetpack and much more :).

Dev jothegreat55555 is a server set in the time period of the 1940's in an Italian city. This isn't the friendliest part of town, if you catch our drift, and you will need to watch out for those mobsters! The server has plently to offer ranging from illegal item rackating, interesting card games, to underground boxing and more!
Work your way from the newcomer to the top! Become a head assassin, leader of a Mafia family, or maybe just settle down with a nice legitimate buisness.

- August 9th - The Light Hirings
Greetings. The Light is an aspiring modern server with stats and a basic rank leveling system involved. Basically, we want to recreate a mordern server with an RPG touch to it.
We are now undergoing huge development especially with our systems and tiles. Therefore, we are hiring professional or experienced staff to help out.
Here are a list of open hirings:
Scripters/NATs - We are currently needing committed scripters to help us.
GANI - We need GANI makers to help liven up The Light's environment and player-friendliness.
We would appreciate help from the Graal Community especially in these fields.

- August 4th - Mythic Legends Hirings
I'll keep myself short and go directly to the point. We're looking for a bit of a help.
Character Equipment/Sprites - Self-explanatory. Your job would be to create custom looks on sprites, new hairs, clothing equipment etc.
Icons - You'd be making 32x32 icons for currently existing items, spells and even skills/talents.
GUIs - The dreadful default GUIs need to be replaced, are you creative enough for it?
Interior and/or Exterior decorations - We're at a stage where inside levels are getting rapidly done, and the town is slowly getting bigger and bigger. However, while we might have tiles, we don't have anything to fill the levels with. That's where you come in! You'd get more or less free hands, but if anything is requested, why not do it right?
Tiles - The oh so glorious task of creating more tiles. Interested?
Any of the above are up for grabs. If you don't want a steady job, and just want to help here and there - that's fine. We can provide you with boots to get around the normally sealed off town, as well as a limited RC for uploading. If you do want to be actually hired with any of the above tasks as main priority, then even better.
Not hiring any coders, and doubtfully level makers - depends on how good you are.
All/most core systems are done, now it's just the visual part left before we're ready to rock. And trust me, we'll rock - heavy metal style!

- July 18th - GraalOnline Forums: Update
The Official Graal Online Communication Center is now free to those who have bought a Gold Subscription in the past, or currently have an active subscription.
Also, updates have been made to the forums. Now users can create social groups, tag threads, and much more.
- July 9th - Graal iPhone/iPod: Will be released on Apple AppStore!
The happy owners of an iPhone/iPod Touch will soon be able to play Graal on it. This Friday Apple will launch the version 2.0 of the iPhone/iPod software including AppStore (a shop to install new software).
If everything goes well, Graal Zone for iPhone/iPod will be one of the first multi-player arcade games to be available on the AppStore. Graal Zone for iPhone/iPod is a special version of Graal Zone for PC with some training levels and custom maps. Graal Zone on iPhone/iPod will be free.
We are releasing also Graal Zone+, a premium version of the game with more weapons, vehicles and maps.
To celebrate the launch of the iPhone/iPod version we will organize events, stay tuned!
- July 6th - Project Mythic: Combat released, once and for all!
Combat system is released, once and for all!
If you logon, create a character, then login with it - you'll see a NPC giving you instructions on how to enter combat.
Currently you will face as many baddies as there are players in your party (party system not released yet) and they will be the same level as your party leader. They will have randomized looks, and randomized stats between 3 and 21. If you beat them everyone in your party will level up, if not, try again!
Exp system will probably not be released until we get this town ready and open it up, so if you're willing to help with levels or graphics - get in touch! :)

- June 29th - New trading cards!
New effects and a brand new pets system are waiting for you to be discovered. Collect the new trading cards, find a full set and unlock several new effects that make you look better or get one of the pets which work on any Graal server. Following the successful launch of the first trading cards in December 2007 we are again giving prizes to the first players who collect a full card set. Between the first 3 players who collect a full set we will randomly choose one player to win a Wii game console. This time it will be more challenging, with several rare pets and a total of 18 sets to collect.
You get the new trading cards by buying "Random Cards" in the in-game shop window. Beside trading cards you can also win tombola cards which let you participate in a tombola at the end of the summer (September) to win another Wii game console! The prizes are sponsored by Ticketsurf, a new payment method available for Graal players in Canada, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Brazil and more.
Existing cards (marked with 'available only this winter') will be converted to the new card system and can be used for another 2 weeks.
- June 28th - Silence is hiring!
Silence is now opened to public with several releases to come soon. But Silence needs you, the graal community to be accomplished and become a great server. Within the RPG, Fantasy theme has to be added.
We'r hiring:
- -Scripters.
- -SFX (Sounds): If you are able to make your own sounds, tell us about it !
- -GATs: In fact, the tileset is almost done, but needs some more help to be
colorful and represent a world full of life, but with sadness at the same time.

- June 27th - New Forest Island Released
Forest has been busy planting trees and moving entire towns. Baleron and Avanik was moved, a good time to explore somtething new. The rest of the cities were redesigned a bit to be more accessible. Quite a few changes to the kingdom island as well, some of these changes will allow you to swim to the smaller island. New walled city with gates for a new touch as well, with places for player houses in the city. Now forest members can be a true city dweller. We haven't forgotten about those that just like to be out in the trrees either. Several locations along various roads should look very nice for a few houses here and there.
- June 23rd - 'New clothing system on GK - GFX Contest
Today we updated the clothing system on Graal Kingdoms. Now you are able to carry your favourite outfits with you. So you can save the time running the the clothing shop. But you have to craft these outfits now, there isn't just plat you need. Don't worry, there are just basic items like cloth, skin, coal and so on needed in order to craft your favourite items. We are also able to give out clothing in a limited number now. This means there are more exotic clothings you can win in events, find randomly on the map, trade with them or just show what you've got.
Along with this update we started a graphics contest you can take part in. The graphics of the winners are going to be used for the first collection of limited clothing. All other graphics will be public to everyone every time. Url: http://forums.graalonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=80206
- June 22nd - New town on Zormite released
Out of a travelers dairy: "I felt how the earth below my feet was slowly starting to move. Something was different on my travel through the land of Zormite today. Then suddenly there ground opened just a half mile in font of me and a big dust cloud came up. I started to run there and as I almost reached the coast on the west the dust was fading away. I couldn't belive my eyes but there it was.. a big sign with a name on it 'Vateril'. Everything was looking nice around there. The town had a mill, a well, a bakery and other shops but there was something strange. It was the house of Zohaun's brother the blacksmith. It looked different somehow in a good way. I was wondering if this blacksmith was able to craft some special weapons in the near future."
- June 21st - New Governor of the Crescent Pirates
A new Governor of the Crescent Pirates was announced by Governor Felix Lionheart upon his retirement. The new Governor of the Crescent Pirates would be none other than Paul Cypher, a fearless pirate and a great leader. Congratulations Paul!

School's out, it's summer time, and Graal Kingdoms is waiting for your arrival. - June 13th - New Subscription System
We are introducing a new more flexible subscription system - you get a starter pack with your subscription, and you can pause your subscription:
Euro conversion
Right now we are losing an incredible amount of money each month just for currency conversion. That's why we have decided to switch the billing system completely to Euro. We know that odd Dollar numbers on the bill (like .37) might be confusing, but we hope that you understand this step. At the same time we lower the Euro prices so that the actual difference between old and new amount will not be too huge. So depending on where you come from and what you want to buy, some prices might be slightly higher or lower. On the subscription page you can easily convert the amount to your local currency.
New subscription system
We have changed the subscription system to be based on Gelats. That means you buy an amount of Gelats on the website, and then subscribe directly in the game using the Shop window. The subscription system has been simplified: we again only offer one Gold subscription which works for any current server (Zone, Kingdoms, Classic, under construction and hosted playerworlds). The price is in the middle of old single server subscription and gold bundle: you subscribe and then pay 300 Gelats each month.
Free starter pack
When you buy a subscription or gelat pack on the website then you get an additional starter pack for free. The starter pack includes items for Zone, Kingdoms, Unholy Nation, Zodiac and Era and makes the life for new players easier.
Flexible subscriptions
The subscription system is now much more flexible. First you don't need to subscribe for 12 months upfront: you can subscribe one month, then pause and continue later with your remaining Gelats. You will get an e-mail notification when your subscription is near the end and there are not enough Gelats on your account.
- June 9th - Project Mythic: Combat System Released!
You are now able to duel players one-on-one on Project Mythic. Want to try it out yourself?
1) Create a new character and login with it.
2) Find a suiting victim, then say /duel <charactername> (ie. /duel Ziro)
3) Wait for the player to accept your duel request. Note: if it's not accepted within 60 seconds your request will time out.
We're also still hiring interested level makers and pixel artists, poke me xXziroXx (Ziro) in-game!
- June 7th - Zone Plasma Chaingun
Hightech in your hands: the new Plasma Chaingun shoots a stream of powerful plasma bullets, works with any class and requires less reloads than the metal chaingun. Now available in the Zone Shop.
- June 1st - Zone Red Pistols Events
This Sunday, Zone will have an event hosted on Deathmatch for Redpistoles. Zone will also have an event hosted for Redpistoles, and the exact event type and location have not been decided. The general time will be 18:00 server time through 21:00 server time. Don't forget the progress on Zone Debug, the Bunker map could be out soon!

- May 31st - Zone Doubleshot Event
Saturday, This coming Saturday, Zone will have an event hosted on Deathmatch by Tench Doubleshot King (Tenchry_P2P). The prize for this event will be doubleshots! The time will be announced later this week.
- May 28th - Zone Tournament
On Wednesday, May 28th, at 01:00 server time, there will be a hide and seek event on Deathmatch. The prize will be 250 Pipebombs. After that a Snowrace tournament will be held. The rules for the Snowrace will be announced shortly. The prize for the tournament will be 500 gas grenades to first place and 250 pipebombs to second place.
- May 25th - Zone Player of the Week
The Zone player of the week for last week was Lashivas with an astounding 1711 kills! Congratulations Lashivas!
- May 25th - The Adventure of Questing is back on Classic
After having gone through many small changes to rebuild both the Original Graal and Adventure feel, Classic has finally seen the release of 2 new Quests, in the form of Sardons Tower and the Gnome Caves. Both are implemented as part of a main storyline and should provide a decent hour of gameplay at minimum, more details are contained inside of the npcserver message.
- May 6th - Project Mythic: Call for help
Project Mythic is in grave need of help from Level Makers and Graphic Artists. The potential is there, but the man power is not. We want to create a quite big town (10x10 levels), but we simply lack the people for it.
We seek those of you who are experienced, or at least know your way around, with creating levels. We do have a custom tileset, so "practice makes perfect" comes to my mind. We're in huge need of anyone that can be of assistance in this department!
If that wasnt all, we are keeping our eyes open for anyone with a talent for graphics that'd be interested in helping. Your task would mainly be to assist with tile requests, or you who wish to design clothing/equipments etc.

- May 3rd - Zone Events
This weekend several prize events will be held on Zone.
On Friday night a red pistol event will be held (time will depend on number of players online). On Saturday afternoon, an event will be held for red pistols at 19:30 server time (1:30pm est).
Above is the sneak peak of the bunker map that is in progress on Zone Debug. The player is holding redpistoles. To conclude this fabulous weekend, another pair of red pistols will be hosted off on Sunday. Cash (Cash_P2p) was the player of the week last week with a total of 695 kills for the week.

- April 28th - Epic Mage!
It was time for a big event!
The Graalians had to spar 1vs1 with some handicaps to make it stronger so they really had to show there skills to be a mage. After the spar the mages had to go to a dungeon and kill evil monsters only with there spells!

After a large amount of development, Atrius finally requires the need of a few more staff to get the server fully bug-free! We're getting close to the end of our work, and we need help!

- April 27th - Zone New Iricia
Iricia has changed significantly - turrets, more bunkers, and a bigger base one. If players like it then the new map will stay online.
There is also a new weekly kills stats - become the player of the week! For sending messages to guild members use the new /guild message command.

- April 6th - Zone Wars - Relaunched
We have relaunched the, once very populair Zone Wars planet! Some nice effects and more balance has been added. When your team loses you also get into a winning room now (which is new).
Last week we also released a new weapon in the gelat shop, which is the Assaultpistol. This is a weapon with fast bullets and can be bought for 75 gelats. Next week we plan to release the plasmachaingun, so be there!

- March 29th - Zone Bots Events
The Events Team can now spawn bots on any planet, which makes it possible to host fun new events. The bots are fast and can avoid bullets, team play is recommended to beat them!
- March 23rd - Easter Event - Easterhouse
On easter Graalians had to fight evil egg monsters to get new items and a lot of experience! Thanks to Tig and Stephen who developed the easterhouse for us!
- March 23rd - Project Mythic: Extended Hirings
After the nice input on the server received by players after opening up the little we have on Project Mythic for the LAT hirings, we've decided to open up a few more spots in the staff team.
We are currently accepting applications for the following:
- Pixel Artists - Your primary objectives would be to help out with tiles, or character equipments, whichever you prefer.
- Concept Designer - Have great fantasy? Love to draw, using whatever it may be? We are looking for help with designing a quite large castle town, that can't look too repetitive. Possibly accepting applicants for just equipment designing.
- Level Maker - Still available spots here.

Happy Easter everybody! We have added a Bunny on Zone which you can kill to gain eggs, but which can also kill you! Enjoy the special gifts in the eggs, the new outfits and many more updates to come soon.
- March 15th - Zone Lava Blaster Event
New Events: Lava Blaster Event: Try to push the other players into the lava with your blaster! It's a last-man-standing event.
Foot Race Dash: On the snow race map you can now do a dash (like Sonic): Hold S or D, then run and try to avoid hitting walls.
- March 8th - Project Mythic in need of Level Maker(s)!
Work on Project Mythic, formerly known as Mythic Legends (not the same as the current server with the name though), is moving forward in a fast pace. The server will have some rather 'unique' features, such as:
- Turn Based Combat
- Simple, yet effective, NPCs - such as town folks walking around "living their own lives".
- Dynamic weather, that actually has an effect on the world.
It would be foolish to list too many things, might result in empty promises. Anyways.. we're trying to create a town connected to a castle, with our own custom tiles. What we're looking for, is one or two Level Makers wanting to design the town (tiles needed can be requested by our tile maker), and later on detail it.

- March 7th - AEON has opened a world to players
AEON has released its classic-themed overworld, Elan: The Faded Nation.
The release of the overworld is accompanied by the release of several systems:
- A Town Takeover System. Guilds are able to capture Elan's Towns, and receive perks for controlling them.
- A hunting system. Players can hunt animals and sell their hides for some cash. Higher level hunters can choose more powerful weapons.
- A mining system. Higher level Miners have an easier time mining. Miners can also purchase better axes. Draisines make it easier for Miners to travel through the mines.
- An automated Event Bot. Elan offers a variety of events. If an Event Staff is not on, the Event Bot temporarily takes the place of staff.
- Guild PK Rankings. Guilds can prove they are the best by reaching the top of the Guild PK Rankings.
- A wide selection of Weapons and Prizes. Shops are scattered throughout the playerworld.

Hello everybody! A lot of people know about Bionic, but for those people that have never heard of us: Bionic is a growing server. We've been doing alot of work to bring forward a brand new server that Graal has never seen before. We have new ways to get Exp. On our server we have a new Exp System, new events, new jobs and how to earn money in different ways than you've ever seen before. Also we have a brand new magic system and are working on a fighting system but we need some help.
We are looking for 1 or 2 NATS, 1 LAT and also 1 Gfx and 1 Gani maker. We have applications made for each department. There is currently no chief for those departments so who knows if u might take those spots in the future, but talk to Rave Platinum (Manager) on the server (MSN rave1337@hotmail.com, AIM Rave6298).

- February 2nd - Zone Jump'n'Run Race
A new event has been added on Zone: the Jump'n'Run Race! Everyone starts at the bottom of the map and must jump onto platforms to get to the top. Only the Blaster and the Gravity Hammer are working here. On the way to the top you can find several moving platforms, baddies and destroyable blocks. A lot of players participated in the events.
We have also updated the Platform map to balance it more. The Events Team can now hold events for guilds and only allow certain weapons for doing melee-only events and similar.

- January 28th - Classic Dev Update
CLASSIC has started its redevelopment in earnest at last. The Minigame System with Graalian Invaders is back. More games will be following soon. It can be found in a shop in Nimda with high scores being found in Coms Tower.
You also have your choice of tilesets. We've had commands for /system tiles old and /system tiles new. Thor has added /system tiles original. It gives Classic back its more Zelda like look.
DC has also released the fishing pole. It can be found in its usual location in Avalon. Level 2 lure is released at this point.
Jet skis are also back on Avalon as well as in The Joint's spar for those wet spars.
- January 26th - Zone Platform World
Today we have released something entirely different from what you know about Zone! This Platform world creates a whole new, nice environment for Events. Together with this world we have released a new weapon, the Gravity Hammer. The weapon has 2 different types of usage (melee/shoot) and is available in the Gelat Shop. Special thanks goes to Sayian (SayianOozaru) for creating the graphics of the weapon and Hato (PaperMario) for creating the ganis.

Exactly 10 years ago Graal has been started. Thanks to players and developers for staying with us for that long time and enjoying the game. Expect many more exciting things in the future!
- January 14th - Kingdoms Ghoul Town
A new town has been released on Crescent Island, Ghoul Town can be found on the small island at the top of Crescent Island. In the Tavern there is a spar upstairs with all the tables and chairs and other interiors of a bar. So you can have a bar brawl or just relax with friends. You can craft weapons and tools in the blacksmiths and cannonballs in the cannonball shop or just visit one of the many houses around the island. There is also some barracks with a large spar and a resting room for pirates.
- January 12th - Kingdoms Big Event
Many players participated in this event - equipped with water cans, pickaxes, scythes and more they followed the hints given by the events masters and searched for hidden objects and characters. After more than two hours the winners of this scavenger event received new items like the belzebub shield.

The new spar dropship has been released on Zone! It brings back the two spar rooms where you can watch people, adds a new snow spar room and you can also fight against the spar bot again. Have fun and gain a high spar rating by beating players in the spar rooms!

So here we are, it is Christmas time again! What would be a better way to give back to Graal for all those years it has given us? I have created a radio station for Graal. This is different from most radio stations on Graal because it actually uses real music streaming from a DJ's computer to the server which is then sent to the server. The radio is currently located on N-Pulse and will soon expand to other servers! You can currently listen by logging on to N-Pulse. A website will be soon to come, but you can also listen without being on Graal as well!

Not many people know about Fincayra, however we have, since July this year, made quite a large amount of progress. Our Inventory Menu, as well as Status Menus are up and running, and need their keys held down to keep a constant view of them. With the help of Zeo/Chompy and A, our very small staff team, and the freelance level- and graphic-makers that have helped us along the way, we have nearly enough content to apply for Hosted Tab Inspection. Pioneers in the west oftentimes found themselves battling the cold winter winds and icy snows during the frigid month of December. It has been years since the west has seen snow, but things are starting to ice over.

This year, winter has hit the world harder than ever. Though, with the winter season coming around, the world has become more of an interactive winter wonderland with a brand new, nice looking tileset.
With the Christmas holiday approaching soon, the main towns around the world have been decorated to satisfy the holiday mood. New quests are in preparation and will be revealed very soon.
Last of all, be apart of the world. Participate in our holiday and winter hat competition. Create your own holiday/winter hat, submit it to the server, and vote on the wide variety of hats to win the competition. You can even win your own hat and others can buy them too!

Perhaps quite a few of you have heard of "Horrification", a new experience to graal. We have been closed to the public for quite a while and now release an old experience, in a new way -- Graal Sparring.
With a Host and Join spar GUI, you can create spars that match your way of playing -- 3 hearts or 14? Weapons enabled or disabled? Trials allowed? Just two players...or eight? Invite only, or open to all? Spar stats are also saved -- right click you and others and press the "Spar Stats" button.

We have released the new snow race map and did several events for winning small and big items. - November 1st - Ol' West is Getting Some Work Done!
Yep, Ol' West is getting some work done! Mag has returned and he's been working hard on the factions system and a new bullet-showing system, as shown in the picture. He can't finish the factions, though, mainly due to the lack of LATs. Log on Ol' West for more info, or to just have some fun.

- October 28th - Zone Medals
Get medals for special achievements! We have added 7 medals which you get once reaching a special number of kills for certain weapons or doing special things. Find and get them all and show them in your profile!
- October 27th - Graaloween
It's Graaloween time! Many servers are decorated with pumpkins and skulls and have released new weapons or monsters to celebrate Halloween. On Kingdoms you can enter the Halloween haunted house, and on Zone you can buy the popular ghost rifle and pumpkin rifles. Have fun!
- October 21st - Kingdoms Battle Island
A new island has been added for kingdom battles. The entry to the island is marked on the map. The island is made for battles - you can even find a ship building place and monsters on it.
- October 21st - Zone Team Sounds
The team sounds are now directly available in the item menu - you can easily map sounds to keys and activate them on the battle field to send messages to your team members. You see the icon of the head of the player on the left side of the screen. There is a filter to prevent mass sending of sounds.
- October 20th - New Zone
Many updates have been added on Zone:
- New players can play without observer mode and can access more classes
- More advantages for Gold players: you can assign hotkeys to weapons
- You can play with mouse: shoot by left and right mouse key and cycle through hotkeyed weapons with mouse wheel
We will also hire an Asistant Administrator to bring more life into Zone.
- October 15th - Faded Nation's big move
After a lot of talk and preperations, Myself along with the rest of the FN management have finalized the move to Aeon. FN will now be the classic part of the 4 part Aeon world, formerly known as Elan; or now Elan, "The Faded Nation". We're excited about this and will try to bring you guys some of the best content of a classic world out there, thanks to Aeon administration for support on the move!
- October 15th - Graal Kingdoms New Parties
We have re-enabled several party commands like /party who and /party leave, and the experience gain has been changed: no level gap anymore (any player can join the party) and the experience is shared based on each players level.
- October 14th - Era's Death Gui
Once a player dies, there's a time to be revived. Before now, you couldn't see that timer. However, we've decided to release it!
- October 13th - Zone Planet Admins
We have added several new commands for the Events Team to hire new events team members, and they can also hire planet admins:
- admin for only a single planet
- can use only the commands for that planet
- can kick and unstick players from that planet
This should make the events team more active. The planets are now also automatically reset when the events team members and planet admins logout, so that you can again use all weapons and the time for guild wars and deathmatch are correct.

- October 2nd - New Serverlist Icons and Fonts
The Serverlist now uses the toon style by default (if you haven't selected another style). Also, new icons have been made for each server. It has been stated that if anyone wishes to make better ones, feel free to submit some by posting on the forums. New fonts have also been added.

- September 30th - New tool: GUI Editor
We have added a new tool to the scripted RC: the GUI Editor! Open the scripted RC (F6) and click on the new GUI editor icon to open it. In the GUI Editor window you can select a GUI type (e.g. "Window") and click on the "+" button for adding the GUI control. Once you are finished with your GUI click on the "Compile" button to upload the script to your server. The Gui Editor supports the new GUI styles, so you can easily make windows which use the users choosen GUI style.
- September 29th - Aeon is back... and hiring!
Some of you may be familiar with Aeon from a few years ago. We've been making significant progress on the server over the last week, and we would like to invite all talented level, graphics and animation artists to join our team. Yes way! After some years of work, many server inspections, and some "staff problems", Graal Legacy has FINALLY made hosted! This doesn't mean we're done with production. We have much more to make. Zone and Kingdoms have been graphically improved - we have added footstep effects when walking on snow, grass and sand. You can see the footsteps of other peoples and even see bubbles when swimming!

Many things have been finished this year, for example: The beautiful outside levels are finished (272 levels).

- September 9th - Esteria - Bringing It Back With Some Hiring
As many are aware, Esteria is coming back on Graal. Well, we were never gone, but we are heavily working on our project again.
We are currently working on many things such as:

- Custom Body Ganis
- GUIs
- Items
We hope to get these done as soon as possible, but we will need some GFXers, Scripters, and the whole lot. Ask either Crow or Switch to be hired, and you must have knowledge in the specific area you're asking for.

Some of you are probably quite familiar with the world Rudora, back from the older days of Graal. It's currently a development server, and recently has been under redevelopment in hope to bring a new Classic world. Quite a lot of progress has been made so far.

- The events have been redone, and some new ones created

We have improved several skill games:
- BomberMad can be be played with joystick and gamepad now
- We have fixed a bug in the chess computer logic (not moving when being in check)
- When training a game then you have a new "Demo" button next to the "Restart" button which lets you watch a match computer vs computer
- In Invaders X the fire slots are not decreasing anymore

We have switched all graal.net playerworlds to the new Developer Gold system:
- Renting a server is as easy as upgrading an account - just go on the website and buy a Developer Gold subscription: http://www.graalonline.com/playerworlds/stores/upgrade
- Instead of just using PayPal, you can now also use PayByCash which offers more payment methods.
- Same price as before
- The servers are bound to the owners account. You don't have a separate admin-account, but the owner account gets full access.
- You see the remaining subscription time on the serverlist.

We also want to remind you that there is now the Developer Pack available on the website - it lets you share the costs of a server between several developers. The price is basicly 1/3 of Developer Gold, and you need 3 people to create the server.

Era has just released a new quest! Located west of Tachi and north of the Hospital is an old military storage compound that is rumored to still have weapons inside. Find a way in, avoid the guards, and buy the guns to beat the quest.

- August 28th - Computer Account Locking
Graal has added a new feature that allows you to lock your account to a specific computer. If someone wants to connect to your account using a different computer then you will receive an e-mail where you need to click on a link to approve the new computer; This should make it harder to hack or steal accounts. To enable this protection, click on the "Protect" button in the serverlist screen.
- August 26th - Atlantis Relaunched
A new Atlantis has been released - with a story, quests and guides, a new interface and a completely new world with several islands which you can discover on your travel. The staff is also working on making the server available in English (default language is German).

We were again holding several tournaments, and started the first tournaments for Gelats! The winners for the tournaments at this weekend are:

- August 19th - Zone Metallic Rifle
The traders sell a new weapon: the metallic rifle, which is shooting either a powerful 4-bullet shot (S-key), or a combo of 4 independent bullets which split on impact (D-key). It's not a rapid-fire rifle, but can be effective against groups of enemies or enemies hiding behind thin walls.
- August 18th - Zone Flame Bombs and Scifi Pistol
New weapons have been added: the flame bomb which is a bottle that is thrown, explodes on impact and places some fire on the ground. The flame bombs are available from the traders. In the Shop window you can purchase a new pistol: the Scifi Pistol which is similar to the AP Ripper, but can also shoot sidewards when pressing the D-key, and has a higher fire rate in single pistol mode. We hope you enjoy the new weapons!
- August 18th - Zone Reapers Event
This weekend on Saturday at 11 PM GMT + 1 (5 PM United States eastern time) a reaper will be given away on Zone by the events staff Crono (Gerami) . We hope that many players will show up and participate!
- August 17th - Graal Skills Highscores
We have added a highscore system on Graal Skill games, currently it is tracking the high scores for Mahjongg, Asteroids, Marble Flip and Marble Maze. You can watch the high scores by clicking on "All Games" or by clicking on the game, and scrolling down in the description window. This highscore is not displayed inside the game (Mahjongg sometimes says "new highscore" which is your personal score in the current game but not the online high score).
- August 14th - First Graal Kingdoms Poker Tournament
Today we had the first Graal Kingdoms Poker Tournament. Everyone was invited to join the tournament with 1000 platinum coins. After 18 rounds we had a winner, sage_scooby won in a heads up against Ravenblade1979. Besides the money he also one an unique trophy with an engraving.
We are preparing more tournaments for Graal Kingdom prizes so stay tuned.
- August 12th - Graal Skills More Tournaments
More tournaments were hold on the Graal Skills server, the winners are this time:

- August 12th - Zone New Inventory
We have added a new inventory using GUI controls. It can easier be navigated with mouse (left click for S weapon, right click for D weapon), but still works the same like the old inventory when controlled with keyboard. It offers more space for new weapons and its look can easily be customized using the new v5 GUI styles.
In the next few days we will release cool new weapons!

- August 11th - Zone Event Weapon Match
This Saturday, Anubis (Anubis_Wing) zone events team member hosted a prize event for blue pistoles. After a heated battle with the crossbow bolts flying every direction and gravitron bullets penetrating through barrels the winner was finally decided. The winner was Shadow (IXIs_Last_Stand) who won using the gravitron. Over 15 players participated in the event! Congrats to those who particpated! Next months event date will be announced shortly! 
- August 9th - Graal Skills Tournaments
This weekend we will hold several free tournaments and tournaments where you can win Gelats - play Poker, Pool Billiard, BomberMad and more against other players! We have also improved the skill games to make the playing more fun:
- The game window is bigger, we removed the clouds-header
- The tournament announcement PM leads you directly to the tournament list
- When a tournament is added then a blinking link will appear in the Log window for easily joining the tournament
- When inviting a player to a game then it is automatically selecting the best rule for the selected game (Bombermad: 3 Rounds) to make things easier
- You can bet up to 50 gelats in Poker (might be increased later)
- Nicknames are filtered (some special characters being removed) to avoid problems in multiplayer flash games
- Easier navigation with keyboard: 'Space' starts a game, card games automatically select the first button in the start screen, when closing a game then it is automatically focussing the game list

- July 24th - First step for economy fix on Era
With the removal of bouquets, the staff team decided to raise the price in which the store will buy your flowers for. The following changes are listed below. (Note: this is per 10 flowers)
- 10 mums - $2
- 10 tulips - $5
- 10 carnations - $6
- 10 asters - $7
- 10 sunflowers - $7
- 10 roses - $8
Prices were chosen by the rarity of each type of flower throughout the gmap. Further job updates will be given to mining and shell digging.
- July 20th - Visible amulets and shipyardrights on Kingdoms
While doing that we also added support for masks to be hidden after a couple of players suggested that.
Now it is possible to protect the kingdom's shipyard even better. We added a new kingdomright called "S" - Shipyard. You will need this right now if you want to open or close the gate of the shipyard. So the leadership of the kingdom has a well knowledge about who can access the kingdom's ships.
- July 17th - Blackjack tournement on Kingdoms
Today we had a big blackjack tournement on Graal Kingdoms which took almost 2 hours. After the pre-match Leon Xanadu won the grand final and gained a Ring of the Card Champions. He was followed by Lale Cruxis and Javalin.
- July 14th - Graal v5 released!
As you may have noticed, the new Graal version 5 has been released. Many changes and new features are included in this version. If you are experiencing any bugs or wish to submit features that you would like to see, please log-in to the Graal forums and post in the v5 section here. Both Unixmad and Stefan are working very hard to fix the handful of bugs that users are experiencing. Hope you enjoy!
- July 10th - Graal v5 is near!
An announcement has been made for the new Graal version 5 that includes many updates for both the Graal client and the website! - June 24th - Ol' West 100$ Contest

It is possible now to do fist-only battle events on Kingdoms. We have also fixed a problem with the escort quests.
- June 8th - Classic Monthly Spar
The Classic monthly spar for June will take place this Saturday, June 9th at 7pm EST. Good luck to all those that enter. :D
- June 7th - New Management
Valikorlia held a vote for the new manager. The results showed that Omake, an experienced staff member, won. He chose Setzer, another experienced staff member, as his co-manager. This update comes after, what players call, the failure of the previous manager.

- May 26th - Zone Vehicle Events
On Zone the Events Team can now spawn hover bikes, mechs and speeders on any planet and so allow interesting battles and deathmatches.

A new quest developed by our very own YenroY (with help from TSAdmin, Daz, Malicious, Armanno, Amsel, Chandler) has been released today! This ninja quest not only tests your physical endurance but your mental as well.

- May 12th - Zodiac Updates
The Zodiac staff are currently working on balancing the classes to make battles fair since there is now a level gap at 60.
- May 6th - Zodiac Reset
Zodiac was taken down for two days to clear the server from abusable scripts and to update some systems. It is back now, everyone is starting from scratch and has a new chance to become a nation leader!
- May 5th - Unholy Nation GS2
Unholy Nation finally switched to the new scripting engine, so being able to provide better content in the future. Most problems that occured because of that have already been fixed.

- April 10th - Classic Egg Hunt Winner
Thor won the Classic Egg Hunt 2007 with an impressive 6666 eggs! As the winner he gained a Level 4 Bunny card for the new card game, 4 GC tickets, and his name down in the Hunting Hall Of Fame.
Congratulations to him, and thanks for everyone who took part.
- April 8th - Kingdoms Easter Events
The egg hunt on Graal Kingdoms started! You can either digg for regular eggs and then catch the jumping egg using a net, and then go into Hotaru gift shop to get one of the rare easter items. Or you can try to find one of the special eggs which contain items like the demon shield or house renovation scrolls for expanding your house.
From time to time you will also see pink bunny lords invading the islands. The events team can now also hold special events where only certain weapons or magic are allowed.

- April 8th - Zone Easter
Go the bunny in the dropship and get easter eggs (gives quite a lot of hitpoints) or buy a carrot dagger for stabbing your enemy! You will also see that some graphics have been slightly altered to match the easter look.

- March 31th - Progress on Mythic Legends
The progress on Mythic is going forward, we have completed several major systems:
- Movement
- MUDlib
- Shop
- Inventory
- Weather/Time
We're working on tiles, and at this point we have enough to be able to create a simple overworld as well as inside levels. We will soon have ganis for out custom bodies ready as well.

- March 30th - Classic Egg Hunt
It's that time of the year again, Easter is just around the corner, so it's Egg Hunting Season on Classic!
All of the bushes each have a chance to drop an Easter Egg. If an egg appears, (once you've touched it) it belongs to you. The one with the most Easter Eggs on Easter Sunday will receive a prize, ranging from a statue in the GC Studios, a hefty amount of tickets, or a starter for the new card game.
2005 was dominated by Stryker, 2006 was Wazza, who will be the champion this year? Lets wait and find out!
- March 29th - New N-Pulse Sparring Systems
The N-Pulse Automatic Spar Ranking System has been implemented! Go to the statue room above NP Spar to view the top ten sparrers on N-Pulse based on how well they performed in the MAIN ARENA OF NP SPAR. This system does NOT apply for anywhere EXCEPT THE MAIN ARENA OF NP SPAR. Come on over and spar your best to make it to the top of the list!
- March 28th - New N-Pulse Sparring Systems
N-Pulse Spar has been updated with some new systems by Gambet. With it comes an accuracy checking system, that is completely original and new to classic sparring, along with a queue waiting system, and a consecutive spar winning counter. Soon to come will be a spar ranking system that should make everyone step it up a notch to make it to the top. N-Pulse welcomes all sparrers to come on by to spar and enjoy themselves.
- March 25th - Zone New Clothes and Hair Styles
New clothes and hair styles were uploaded: 14 new hairs (not just recolors), 21 new bodies, and many new arms and legs graphics. Sayian made most of the graphics, although other people also helped with ideas and we plan to upload more graphics soon which include more hair styles and recolorations.
- March 11th - Zone New Events
New Events have been added: Iricia can now host events which are restricted to certain weapons and guilds. There are also new possiblities for the other planets now. On the spar dropship the Events Team can now lock spar rooms and launch spars which will make it easier to host spar events and tournaments.
- March 5th - Era Relased Taurus and M3!
Today 2 Guns where added to the Gunshop in unstick me! A Handgun "The Taurus" and a Shotgun "12 gauge Pump-Action(M3)"! Each day one of those will be stocked daily at the Gunshop.
- March 3rd - Graal Kingdoms Spars & Kingdom Wars
The new fighting modifications have been enabled - the main improvements:
- You are pushed back when being hit
- Kingdom leaders (with 'K' right) can turn their kingdom island into battle ground where you don't lose items (see the kingdoms diplomacy tab)
- Completely different fighting on battle grounds:
- More classic-like hp damage: weapon damage, ac and wc still have influence, but much less than before, and it is much easier to hit other players
- shields block attacks from the front
- limited speed
- shooting arrows is freezing longer but is also taking more hitpoints if being successful
The new hp system is only used for battle grounds - when fighting against monsters everything is the same like before.
February
- February 25th - Zone Chainsaws
New item on zone: the chainsaw! You can win it in events and can use it for one hour to scare other players. We will hold several events for the chainsaw. Thanks to Sayian for drawing the chainsaw graphics!
- February 21st - Graal X Updates Graal X has been deleted; placeholder
We have finished editing 1/3 of the main city, and is now accessible by the players. The gate is opened from 7 AM - 7 PM. When closed, you can go on the right side to pay for entry (5 dollars). This new part of the city includes an entire -full-featured- checkers game (for tournaments), motel's, a garage for cars (which you can reserve a spot in), and several stores, including a bagels store, a restraunt, a gas station, a radio station, and a post office.

- February 19th - Delteria Updates

- February 14th - Graal Valentins Day
On several servers Graal players were receiving and giving presents to other players. On Graal Kingdoms events were hold where you could win love wands. On Zone the love rifle have been added which actually adds hitpoints when you shoot someone with it.
- February 4th - Kingdoms Events Display
On Graal Kingdoms the events that are managed by the Events Team are now displayed directly on the game window, you just need to click on a button that is displayed on the top of the window to see the event info and join it.
- February 3rd - Zone Freeze Tag
The Zone Events Team can now host Freeze Tag events where the goal is to shoot other players using the ice cannon. Once a player is frozen he/she will be warped out of the game.
The Events Team also got more commands to better control events, including a command to "soft ban" (prevent disturbing players from leaving dropships).
January
- January 31st - Era relased Tommy Gun!
If you make your way to Era Mafia's capture point, you will find that we have released the Tommy Gun to be bought. You must stock your own and buy your own. It is not cheap (5k), but with the recent upgrades to it, it is worth it. The Tommy Gun takes Uzi ammo, so we have included Uzi Ammo to be buyable and stockable as well. The Tommy gun does 2 damage, and has a decent spread!!! =).
- January 21st - Graal Kingdoms Spring
Many players were participating in building snowmen - Grirahan won the snowmen building contest with 129 of them! The spring returned to Graal Kingdoms now, so the snow melted. Right now it is raining quite often, which is good for plants and farmers but players are hoping for more sun.
This sunday (28th) a Spring Celebration is planned on Dustari island.
- January 14th - Graal Kingdoms Snowmen
You can build snowmen and get rare items when decorating them!
This is how it works:
- Use the shovel to dig a snowball
- Push the snowball a few times
- Medium snowballs can be picked up and put on the big snowballs, making a snowman
- Put items on the snowman to decorate it (carrot, coal, snow sticks, items dropped by elves)
- Once the snowman is fully clothed, you will get a gift box with some nice item in it. You will get up to 3 items, but you can build more snowmen.
- January 12th - Graal v4.208
A new client version has been released for fixing a security problem with gani scripts and to improve the compatibility with Windows Vista by using an updated sound library.

- January 2nd - Bomy Island
Bomy Island (known as Graal Bomy Lands, or Graal2001) is hardly working on the completion of itself. Ofcourse, the staffteam (built of 3 active workers), can't do all the work on their own, and some help is required. If anyone thinks he/she is good enough, please logon: Graal2001 Dev, and feel free to pm an Administrator to talk about a job.
